I’m Jessica Johanson-Kubin, a Washington-licensed attorney based in Seattle. I grew up in southwest Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2019. My legal experience includes private law firm and state government employment. I’m passionate about fighting discrimination in schools and helping students access the free public education they’re entitled to by law. I also help families establish ongoing legal guardianship of their disabled children, when appropriate, after the child turns 18 and loses legal protections inherent to the parent-minor child relationship.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading, cycling on the Burke Gilman Trail, relaxing at local coffee shops, and spending quality time with my family.
